My Reason “Why”
Back when I got married in 2016, I had a HORRIBLE experience with my own wedding photographer.
There was NO connection whatsoever, he called me a different name when he arrived to the church, there was no communication throughout the whole process, and so much more that wasn’t a good time…you get the idea.
So because of my experience, I made a vow to myself that no bride will EVER have to go through what I did on her own wedding day.

When I started my search for a wedding photographer I knew the type of photography I wanted, how I wanted my pictures to look, and the specifics I wanted to be captured. I searched ALL over Instagram for the right person, I messaged many people with the vibe of what I was looking for and finally came across Have & Hold on Instagram. I sent a little inquiry and heard back from Caitlyn very quickly. We set up a phone call for the next day. The moment we got on the phone I just knew that she was the person I wanted to be in control of capturing one of the most important days of my life. Caitlyn was kind, and reassuring, and answered all the questions I had. I booked her that evening after my Fiance (now husband) looked at the mock gallery she sent over and he said "Wow these pictures are so cool, I really like the bridal party ones." This man had made no wedding decision and I had asked him about everything constantly and he always responded with "it's up to you", and now he was commenting on what he liked about her photography, another reason to book her!
Caitlyn not only stayed in touch constantly throughout the wedding planning process in a professional manner, she also became a friend. We were able to create a friendship that made the wedding day even easier. Her character and demeanor are one of the BIG reasons I chose her. It worked out even better that her ability to take pictures far exceeded what I believed I was getting.
Our wedding photos are the most beautiful photos I have ever seen! I have received endless compliments on how unique and beautiful our photos are. Caitlyn you created magic and I am so blessed that you were able to do that for us!
Lastly, I wanted a second shooter and Caitlyn delivered with a great second shooter, Taylor, who helped the guys get some awesome shots and captured special moments that will be cherished forever.
I can not recommend Have & Hold enough! They will make you feel loved, appreciated, and beautiful while capturing the dreamiest moments for you to have and hold forever!

Living in The Upstate since Oct of 2023 has been such a change in lifestyle compared to originally living in the good ol’ Midwest.
